Poem from a window

Poem from a window.jpg

This dance talks to us about vulnerability as an act of courage.
Perhaps It is within the unknown where our greatest potential lies.

Drawing inspiration from performer Alice Labant past experiences and the work of surrealist painter Remedios Varo, this poem piece unfolds in an enclosed space for us to listen with eyes open or closed. We are invited to respond to Alice's journey through writing, drawing, composing a music score or a song, or simply sit still as the dancing poem unfolds.
